Queen Collection vs Mac----------->Queen Preferred 2 to 1 Over Store Brands
I know I will be stepping on ALOT of die hard Mac wearers faces lol
& thats fine I intend to support my finding as FACT along with my personal experience chile !
When I started wearing mac a few years ago its because that what the HYPE & HooRah was bout, so like a follower I joined in buying tons of shadows colors, but I found my love for the eyeshadows would not be mutal feeling for their foundation
I do to this day still use the moisture blend foundation by mac & this is when i want to just get up & glo with out lil to no efforts, but I Prefer Queen over all else PERIOD!!
attending all the shows, even freelancing but as I discovered I had lil experience at that time I just was excited about the colors, Didnt know what to do. Today as I have gained more knowledge I have come to realize I was confined to a few color choices for me persoanally it was fine being I had fair skin complexion
but as I extended my client base of many other shades this confinement posed a problem. Either my clients were too dark or too lite what was gurl to do, I could play chemist & attempt to match a color
but who has that time I wonder>>NOT ME SMH
A few years ago I saw a commercial from Queen Latifah
introducing her line of makeup called the Queen Collection Not only has she made a line
we ALL & by that I mean catered to African Americans of light & even darker shade
, the celebrities that even sold makeup were on board, Thats all a sista had to see, take a look
I was hype just like before wearing mac so I went & picked up a few colors. For Me first I started with Soft Copper,Almond Glo & natural Hue Glo for starters
(at that time they didnt have a few colors thay have added today heres a list below)
it was amazing! My boyfriend at the time was not fond of me wearing makeup at all so i did a test run on him, I purchased inside walgreens went to the bathroom came out with it on when I got in the car as he turned around he was like "baby your skin look nice,I like that" From him it had to be hands down the truth!!! so from there I constantly recieved compliments & have shared this with all my clients, I would suggest YOU to do the same if you have heard but not tried yet. Her line can be purchased in your local Walmart some pharmacies carry it based on african american demand but Walmart for sure. Heres some of my clients I used on without photoshop! all Queen Collection Products Brozer & Foundation,
eyeshadows from my line buy @ www.shesfab.com
Please Post pics of your findings & Stay Tuned on my tuitorial on how you matchup as well as apply properly, Heres some of my work using Queen Line
Thanks for tuning in ladies

Knowing your face shape before choosing a haircut or hairstyle can be the difference between a great look
and a disaster.
How to Find your Face Shape
You can find out what your face shape is by pulling your hair back and taking a picture of yourself. Upload the picture to your computer and use a program to outline your face. No program? Print the picture out and outline your face with a marker. If you don’t have a computer or camera, go to the mirror, and outline your face using an erasable marker. Human face shapes do not always fit into just one face shape category: oval, round, square, oblong, and heart shape.
I came to the finding that im inbetween a round face when I have weight on but MOSTLY a Oval Shape I tend to have no problems with ANY hair style..
Oval Face Shapes
Also Megan Fox
An oval face shape is said to be the ideal face shape because the shape of the face is perfectly proportioned. People with an oval shaped face can usually pull off any hairstyle with ease.
Tips for Oval Face Shapes
■Find your best facial feature and highlight it with your hair cut. For example, with layers.
■If your hair is curly, try to keep it at least at shoulder length.
■Short layers will add height to the top of your head, which could make your face appear longer than it actually is. If you want short layers, make sure your hair is full at the sides.
■Pixie haircuts, bobs, wavy, straight, and long hairstyles should all look great on oval face shapes
Round Face Shapes
Also Jennifer Hudson
The characteristics of having a round face are usually soft facial features, such as a round chin. Round faces usually do not have angular features and have a fullness at and below the cheekbones. The round shaped face is the rarest face shape.
Tips for Round Face Shapes
■Layers that frame your face will help slenderize it.
■Height at the roots help to elongate your face.
■If you have long hair, a high ponytail will usually look good on you.
■Blunt and heavy bangs will take away from the height of your face, making it appear shorter.
■Avoid chin length hair cuts, they will draw attention to the roundness of your face and cheeks.
■If you wear your hair long, that is good, because it helps to add height to your face. If you want layers,
■If you wear your hair short, try parting your hair on the side or cutting short layers to add fullness.
■Shoulder length bobs, long or medium length hair, long hair, side swept bangs are a few of the styles that will look good on a round face shapegood on a round face shape.
Square Face Shape
The best way to tell a square shaped face is a square shaped hairline and squared shaped jawline. Your jawline, eyebrow bone, and cheekbones are about the same width. You want to look for a haircut that will soften your features.
Tips for Square Face Shapes
■Waves and curls soften the sharp angles of square faces.
■Wispy layers around your jaw and chin often help to soften angles.
■Blunt and heavy bangs will take away from the height of your face, making it appear shorter.
■Long hairstyles are best for this face type. Try layering your long hair and avoid center parts if it is one length.
■If your hair is short, try cutting short layers to add height to your hair. More height helps to elongate your face.
■Try to avoid hairstyles and haircuts that make your sides bulky, it will make your face appear wider.
Oblong Face Shape
Tips for Oblong Face Shapes
■Extremely short cuts, long cuts, and cuts that frame your face should be avoided, they will elongate your face.
■Long and straight hairstyles will make your face appear longer than it is. Try cutting bangs, they can be blunt, wispy, heavy fringed, or side swept.
■Curls, shoulder length haircuts, and chin length bob haircuts are great for oblong shaped faces because they create width.
Oblong, or long, shaped faces are more long than they are wide. The forehead, jaw line, and cheekbone are about equal in width. You want to pick a hairstyle that will make your face appear shorter and fuller.
Heart Face Shape
Heart shaped faces are the easiest to spot and the most common face shape. The characteristics of this face shape are a well defined chin and fullness through the cheekbones and temples. You want a haircut that makes your forehead appear less wide and your chin to appear fuller and wider.
Tips for Heart Face Shapes
■Avoid blunt cut bangs. Instead, go for wispy bangs. Side parts and side swept bangs look great on you too.
■Long wavy hair is always a great look for heart shape faces.
■Fullness at the sides of your head are ideal because they narrow your jaw. Fullness on the top of your head is not ideal because it makes you look a little top heavy.
■Hair shorter than your chin generally does not look good. Try a jawline length bob.
