The most flattering lip tones will be one or two shades darker than your natural lip color, according to makeup artist Bobbi Brown.
1. Women with fair skin, look great in lipstick shades such as nudes in a slightly apricot shade, pinks and light corals. Stay away from browns, which will appear blah.

2. Those with a medium skin tone can go a bit darker. You’ll look great in roses, mauves and berries. Skip the bright reds and consider a deep burgundy instead.

3. Deep plum, chocolate or red is fabulous with dark skin. According to the editors of Allure’s “Confessions of a Beauty Editor,” women with dark skin “can go in one of two directions: toward brown or purple. Think caramel or walnut for day, and plum or wine for evening.”
One big red lipstick no-no: It’s best NOT to match lips to your outfit.

U definately are passionate about wat u do! I love this blog and other vices u utilize! Ima lip girl myself and found the section about applying loose powder to ur lip to be very useful! Now I can venture on lighter shades of lip colour and still get that pop I'm lookin for. One question....... I have this makeup stick in my box that says "Illuminator". I don't know how it got there! What is it used for and is it the same as a highlighter/?Estatic about seeing the follow up tutorial!! A NEW FAN OF "SHE'S FABB" AND STAYIN TUNED!! .......Moddyanew
Awww Thanks i trully Love what I do, I stay up ALOT of late nites youtubing, reading just searching for new tricks of the trade to share with all my fashion makeup junkies!!! As to your question you are EXACTLY right..Illuminator is similar to bronzer but unlike bronzer its main purpose is to add MORE contrast to bronzer in situations where your desiring a "contoured" look i.e like making your face slimer, nose smaller ,cheeks thinner etc im sure you get my point,I purchased a illumintaor from chanel that was rather awesome any kind will do they have liquid as well but I find this to be the greatest when u want that bronzed dip in gold look, similiar to the actress Kerry Washington she always has a pout & this is due to illuminator she always has that b/c of the contouring from the illuminator , As you said Stay Tuned I will definetly show u how its done Again thanks for joining & STAY TRUE STAY YOU STAY FABB Smooches MJ xoxo
